Get notified when Workflow Group users are deactivated

Released on March 5, 2025

This new feature introduces Workflow Group error handling to notify administrators when a Workflow Group is empty or only contains deactivated users.

Use Case

Deactivated users remain assigned to their Workflow Groups and Project Teams, meaning assessments may still be automatically assigned to them—especially if they are the only member of the group. This can lead to delays, particularly if not identified early through manual checks or user reports.

With this newly introduced feature, administrators will receive alerts in such cases, enabling them to take immediate action by assigning an active user as the approver for the Workflow Group, preventing further disruptions.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Project Team where the feature needs to be enabled.
  2. Navigate to the Details section under Team Settings.
  3. In the Error Handling section, configure the error message to be displayed to the user who opened the request in the End User Error Message field.
  4. Select the users who need to be notified in case the Workflow Group becomes empty or contains only deactivated users.
