Bring your own OpenAI keys
You can connect your own OpenAI API keys to AI Agent. Usage is billed to your OpenAI account, and you keep full control over keys and spend.
Enhancements
- Faster AI Agent responses — Requests complete more quickly, especially for agents with many sources.
- Gmail attachments — AI Agent can now process attachments sent from Gmail.
- Clearer errors for Start Workflow Action — More detailed error when configuring the action make it easier to fix setup issues.
Matter Management
Features
- Download emails from matters — Download emails from a matter for offline use or record-keeping.
- Create matters from email — Create new matters directly from an email while viewing it in a matter.
- Move emails between matters — Move emails from one matter to another when they belong elsewhere.
- Email intake log (admin) — A new admin view lists all emails received by Checkbox and their intake outcome (e.g. created a new matter, added to an existing matter), making it easier to monitor and troubleshoot email intake.
Enhancements
- Updated At — The "Updated At" system field now updates whenever a new message is added to the matter.
- Boards — Temporary filters and sorts are retained when you return to the same board. The "Discard Changes" modal no longer appears when opening a matter from an unsaved view.
- Matter layouts — You can duplicate existing matter layouts and search for fields in the layout editing modal.
