March brings improvements to AI Agent performance and more collaborative ways to manage legal work. With the GPT-5.2 upgrade, Matter Management collaborators, and Slack thread replies, teams can work with better context and efficiency across Checkbox.
AI Agent
Features
GPT-5.2 upgrade
AI Agent has been upgraded to GPT-5.2, improving response accuracy, instruction following, output formatting, and speed.
Enhancements
- More flexible SharePoint access: SharePoint integrations now use a more targeted permission scope while continuing to support both AI Agent and Workflow use cases. CSV uploads for requestors: Requestors can now upload CSV files to AI Agent, making it easier to provide structured information for review or analysis.
- Foreign email address support: SharePoint integration now supports foreign email addresses, improving compatibility for global teams.
Matter Management
Features
Collaborators
You can now add collaborators to a matter so additional stakeholders can view and contribute without changing the primary assignee or requester.
This helps teams involve subject-matter experts, procurement, finance, or other business stakeholders while keeping ownership clear and matter activity centralised.
Slack messages from Checkbox
You can now send messages back into the originating Slack thread directly from Matter Management.
This keeps Slack conversations and matter activity aligned, reducing copy and paste while maintaining a cleaner audit trail in the matter.
Enhancements
- CSV exports: CSV export is now available for boards and widgets, making it easier to analyse matter data outside Checkbox.
- Duplicated board views: Boards now support duplicating views, helping teams reuse useful layouts faster.
- Duplicated widgets: Widgets can now be duplicated, making dashboard and reporting setup more efficient.
Workflow
Enhancements
- Multiple DocuSign tags per signatory: You can now add multiple text, number, and checkbox tags for each signatory. The Word add-in also supports the new DocuSign tags.
- Faster database blocks: Database blocks in workflows now load more quickly, reducing wait time when moving between forms.
