What is the difference between private and public Solutions?
The concept of public and private Solutions is tied to the ability for specific users to deploy a Solution version.
Public Solutions can be deployed by any users who are Team Owners (or have the "Manage all teams" account level permissions. Private Solutions can only be deployed by its Solution Owners or Authors who are also Team Owners of the target Project Team (or have the "Manage all teams" account level permissions.
Note: By default, all Solutions will be a public Solution.
How to make a Solution public/private

Converting a public Solution to a private Solution:
- Navigate to the Solution in which you wish to publish
- On the left panel, go to the "Versions & Publishing" tab
- Click onto the edit icon next to the "Public Solution"
- Confirm you wish to convert the public Solution to a private Solution

- Navigate to the Solution in which you wish to publish
- On the left panel, go to the "Versions & Publishing" tab
- Click onto the edit icon next to the "Private Solution"
- Confirm you wish to convert the private Solution to a public Solution
How to deploy a Solution
- Create or navigate to a Project Team in which you want to deploy a Solution to
- On the left panel, go to "Solutions Management"
- Click "+ADD SOLUTION" to add a Solution to the Project Team (i.e. deploy a Solution version)
Notes:
- Private Solutions must
- The version that will be deployed will be the latest published version of that Solution. Only published Solution versions will be displayed to add to the Project Team
