Why should we conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)?

An App is only successful if people use it, so end-users need to be convinced that this new process or tool will benefit them. UAT is the process of “socialising” your app with the key stakeholders who will be using it (end-users). The goal is to ensure end-users:

  • Have the opportunity to share their feedback based on their experience with the current process.
  • Understand how to use the application.
  • Are bought-in to the solution once it is deployed.

How do I know if I'm ready for UAT?

If the App has been built with the agreed-upon requirements and it has been tested thoroughly by the builder, your App is ready for UAT! As it'll be the end-user's first interaction with your App, you'll want to leave a good first impression.

Below are a set of videos to help you run a successful UAT and deployment.
