The AI Agent takes a major leap forward this month with the ability to intelligently execute workflows, turning conversational requests into fully structured processes. From chat, users can now be guided directly into the right workflow with key information automatically captured. We’ve also delivered improvements to DocuSign support, solution versioning, and Matter Management consistency.

Features

🧙 Intelligent Workflow Creation — AIA can now start and run your workflows

We are introducing a new action in AIA - "Start Workflow". AIA now moves beyond linking workflows — it can start them, gather information, and auto-progress them. How it works:

  1. Configure the action: An AIA admin creates a “Start Workflow” action in the AIA dashboard and points it to a specific workflow.
  2. Use the conversation as input: AIA intelligently triages the request and fills in the workflow's start block variables using information from the chat.
  3. Ask for missing details: If more information is needed, AIA asks follow-up questions to collect it.
  4. Execute the workflow:
    • Auto-progress ON – AIA progresses the workflow until user input is required and returns the workflow link.
    • Auto-progress OFF – AIA returns a link to a pre-filled workflow for a human to continue.

This creates a seamless transition from free-form chat to structured workflows, reducing intake friction and manual data entry.

Enhancements

  1. Improved action handling – AIA can now manage more actions in a single agent without accuracy dropping off (20+).
  2. Better support for emails sent into AIA, including more reliable handling of embedded images and content.
  3. Start blocks now support document upload variables, allowing requestors to upload files as soon as a workflow begins.

  1. Expanded DocuSign tag support (ESIGN block): You can now use text, number, and checkbox tags when preparing DocuSign documents, giving you more control over how forms are structured.

  2. Solution Versioning improvements: The version dropdown now shows your 10 most recent versions and includes a search bar to quickly locate older versions.

Matter Management

  1. TICKET Block improvements:
    • The matter intake email address is now available as a variable for use in automations.
    • Public users passing through a TICKET block can now successfully create or update matters.
  2. AI Matter Summary general release: The feature is now generally available and has been renamed to “Summarize” for a clearer, simpler experience.
  3. UI consistency & configuration improvements:
    • Requester and Assignee fields are now always included on every layout to keep reporting and filtering consistent across the workspace.
    • The Admin panel for Matter Fields & Layouts now includes a search bar, making it easier to find the fields you want to configure.
    • In Reporting, Status, Single Select, and Multi Select fields now respect your configured option order in widgets instead of sorting alphabetically.
